Mel’s relaxing in warmer climes this week. And she’s asked me to make sure her flirtatious weekly ramblings continue, even in her absence. The sandy beaches and sunny skies of gorgeous Greece have dragged her away from us. But no ordinary holiday this. No no. It’s a wedding too! Have a good one Mel!

“One of my dearest friends has chosen Greece for the location of her nuptials. Nice move lady. This means that not only do I get to laze around in a bikini sipping Mai Tais for a week, but also I get to do it with about 40 of my friends. It’s going to be the best holiday ever!

As usual I will be seeking out the best male morsels to devour – well a holiday ain’t a holiday without a bit of ‘afternoon delight’ thrown in. The marvellous thing about this trip is that as well as the usual local men and holidaymakers I will also have the joy of meeting people at the wedding! A holiday and a wedding, the two best places ever to meet a handsome stranger, combined into one glorious event – rest assured I am waxed within an inch of my life in preparation, believe me!

Of course, with it being ‘abroad’ and my ‘being English’ there are certain things I need to avoid -

Sunburn before the big day- there’s nothing worse than laying on your back in the blazing sun and waking up to realise your legs are gonna resemble a couple of crab-sticks.

Drinking in the sun – champagne before lunch and me without a parasol! Heavens! Getting trolleyed before the speeches are over could scupper any chance of copping off with the best man come the evening. MUST.DRINK.WATER.

Peaking too early – I am anticipating a veritable meze (see what I did there) of men to choose from. The key factor in such situations is not to opt for the first falafel you see. Peruse the selection and take a small nibble by all means, but don’t commit to the main course until you are positive no-one is suddenly going to bring out a meat course so delicious you’re salivating in envy all night.

So expect to hear my tales of foreign fun, frolics and of course flirtation over the next few weeks and fingers crossed I’ll come back with a few extra tips under my belt from those ‘Kings of Flirt’ – the famous Greek Waiters! Woo Hoo”
