Mobile Entertainment Awards finalist 2010!

Now you’ll have to forgive us for blowing our own trumpet, but we’ve received some very exciting news and we sure do feel like shouting about it.

Flirtomatic has been shortlisted as a finalist for the ME Awards 2010 (that’s the Mobile Entertainment Awards to you and me), in the category of ‘Best Social Media Company’! Needless to say, we’re over the moon. We were fortunate enough to win this coveted prize last year and are thrilled to be in the running once more.

We’re facing some pretty stiff competition but we’re dedicated to bringing our users the most entertaining and innovative mobile service possible and will continue to strive to do so. Flirtomatic is here to make flirting, dating and meeting people fun and easy – like Cupid’s younger, flirtier brother.

We’re hugely grateful to our amazing users for informing and inspiring what we do. The awards take place on Thursday 18^th November and we’ll be sure to let you know how we get on. Fingers and toes crossed!

“We spoke as friends in November and we got together on Dec 3rd. She is 20 from Newcastle and I am 29 and was living in Cardiff at the time. Things just work so well between us its like I can stop searching for that soul mate as I have found mine in kayleeeeee. After our time together in Newcastle and over Christmas I couldn’t be that far away anymore so we met again on our boarder-line and derby where we could meet halfway, I moved to derby in the January we visit each other as often as possible and will be moving in together in January and we hope to be engaged this October for her 21st birthday xx.

So our free iPhone app is out there now. It’s generated more Tweets than we’ve ever seen from anything we’ve done, which is one raw measurement of interest. From the press release….
